Historic Sites of Manitoba: Morden and District Museum / Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre (111B Gilmour Street, Morden)

This museum in Morden was established in 1972 as the Morden and District Museum. With the discovery of significant fossils in the vicinity, in 2004 it was renamed the Canadian Fossil Discovery Centre with a focus on paleontology. The museum houses the largest collection of marine reptile fossils in Canada, including the country’s largest mosasaur.
