A 50,000-bushel wooden grain elevator at Fannystelle in the Rural Municipality of Grey was built in 1929 by Manitoba Pool Elevators for a local cooperative association. Over the years, it was expanded with two annexes: a 54,000-bushel balloon annex on its east side in 1950 and a 57,000-bushel crib annex on its west side in 1958. The entire complex was traded to United Grain Growers in 1990 and closed later that year, when a new concrete elevator opened nearby. It has since been demolished.
