A wooden grain elevator at Ethelbert, on the CNR Cowan Subdivision in what is now the Municipality of Ethelbert, was built by the Manitoba Pool Elevators in 1967, replacing an earlier elevator bought by the company in 1954. An annex was built beside it in 1975. Closed in February 2001, the elevator is now used for private grain storage.
