Historic Sites of Manitoba: Enterprise School No. 701 (Enterprise, RM of Killarney-Turtle Mountain)

Established in May 1892, the Enterprise School District operated a one-room schoolhouse at SW4-2-16W in what is now the Rural Municipality of Killarney-Turtle Mountain. In January 1968, the school closed and its district was dissolved. The catchment area became part of the Turtle Mountain School Division. A metal sign commemorates the school at the original site.

Among the teachers of Enterprise School were K. K. Chalmers (1892) and Mrs. Norman McDonald (1967).
