A wooden grain elevator at Dufrost, on the CPR Emerson Subdivision in the Rural Municipality of De Salaberry, was built by Manitoba Pool Elevators in 1950, replacing an earlier elevator from 1928. A crib annex was built beside it in 1967 and a second annex was moved from Carey in 1984. Closed by Agricore in early 2001, the elevator was demolished in 2004.
