Historic Sites of Manitoba: Western Canada Grain Elevator / Manitoba Pool Grain Elevator B (Domain, RM of Macdonald)

A 30,000-bushel wooden grain elevator at Domain, on the CPR La Riviere Subdivision in the Rural Municipality of Macdonald, was built in 1918 for Western Canada Flour Mills. It operated until 1940 when it was sold to Manitoba Pool Elevators, becoming its second elevator here. Closed in 1971, the elevator was later demolished.
