This two-storey brick building on Crescent Avenue West in Souris was built in 1881 as a general store for John Dolmage. Subsequently, the first floor was occupied successively by the Box Brothers Hardware Store, Allied Hardware Store, and various retail shops. The second floor had a millinery shop in the early years and later a hairdresser. Most recently, an art studio occupies the entire building.
