A bronze sculpture on Jackson Street in Dauphin, by Alberta sculptors Shirley and Don Begg, commemorates the nuns of the Sister Servants of Mary Immaculate who came here in August 1928. They cared for the elderly, first in a private home, after the Second World War in a 25-bed nursing home in a former military barracks, and finally in a 70-bed facility known as St. Paul's Home.
