This cemetery in the Rural Municipality of Hanover was opened in 1884, south of a Presbyterian church built in 1879, by Anglo-Saxon settlers who arrived in this area before the Mennonite East Reserve was established in 1874. Engraved stones in the cemetery commemorate the Clearsprings Presbyterian Church (1893-1925), Clearsprings United Church (1925-1967), two Clearsprings schools, and local war veterans.
