Built before 1914, a wood frame cottage on Vaughan Street in Gimli was purchased in 1925 by three sisters: Ann Marr Fordham (1894-1972), Margaret Marr Gresham (1897-1972), and Marjorie Marr Cheatley (1903-1968). It was later left to their brother Ross McKenzie Marr (1906-1978) and passed down to his daughter Roslyn Marr Silversides. The cottage is a good example of one of the simplest types of cottage designs in Loni Beach and Gimli—small, comfortable, light, and airy.
