Historic Sites of Manitoba: Birnie United Church (Birnie, RM of Rosedale)

Zion Methodist Church was built at Birnie, in the Rural Municipality of Rosedale, in 1906. It became Zion United Church in July 1919, serving its congregation until 1988 when the church building was demolished due to structural deterioration. A monument, topped by the former church bell, commemorates the church and its service to the community.
