A wooden grain elevator at the railway siding of Birdtail, on the CNR Rossburn Subdivision in what is now the Municipality of Rossburn, was built in 1938 by United Grain Growers to replace an earlier elevator at the site. Sold to Manitoba Pool Elevators in March 1960, it was the B elevator until 1975 when it was closed and demolished.
