The Berryland School District was established formally in January 1934 and a schoolhouse operated at SW6-16-10E in the Rural Municipality of Lac du Bonnet. The district was dissolved in 1967 and its catchment area became part of the Agassiz School Division. The former school building was moved to Lac du Bonnet where it was renovated into a private residence.
