Historic Sites of Manitoba: Beausale School No. 1321 (Municipality of Norfolk Treherne)

The Beausale School District was established in November 1904 and a one-room schoolhouse operated at SW23-7-8W in what is now the Municipality of Norfolk Treherne. The school closed in 1960 and students went to Notre Dame Consolidated School. The district was dissolved the following year and its area became part of the Mountain School Division. The former school building was moved to SW8-7-7W in the RM of Dufferin where it was used as a private residence. A metal sign at the original site commemorates it.
