Historic Sites of Manitoba: Macdonald Presbyterian Church / Avonlea Presbyterian Church / Avonlea United Church (Domain, RM of Macdonald)

The roots of this church date back to 1903 when the Macdonald Presbyterian Church was built in the Avonlea district, southeast of Domain, in the Rural Municipality of Macdonald. Its name was changed to Avonlea Presbyterian Church in 1909. In 1950, the building was moved to Domain and rededicated in May 1951. The building has two stained glass windows designed by artist Leo Mol. It still hosts regular Sunday worship services.
