Historic Sites of Manitoba: Altamont Curling and Skating Rink (Altamont, Municipality of Lorne)

This rink at Altamont, in the Municipality of Lorne, was built in 1919 and it opened in 1920. In addition to natural ice for skating, it has a single-sheet curling rink. For the third full weekend in January, the skating ice is converted to curling ice for an annual open bonspiel.
