The Allard School District was established formally in March 1902 and a one-room wood frame schoolhouse operated on River Lot 12 at the NE corner of SE 16-18-10E in St. Georges, within what would later be the Rural Municipality of Alexander. The building was expanded to include a second classroom by the latter half of the 1920s and, in 1933, over $2,700 in improvements were undertaken. In January 1962, it became part of the St. George Consolidated School District No. 2403, which later became part of the Agassiz School Division.
