Manitoba Photographers: Herbert James Metcalfe (c1871-1943)

Born at Richmond, Yorkshire, England around 1871, he came to Winnipeg in 1906 where he worked as a photographer until his death. He was a member of St. Margaret's Anglican Church. He died at his Winnipeg home on 29 April 1943 and was buried in the Brookside Cemetery. He was survived by his wife Ada Anne Metcalfe (?-1956) and two children.
