Manitoba Organization: Sanatorium Board of Manitoba / Manitoba Lung Association
The Sanatorium Board of Manitoba was founded in 1904 when a group of citizens organized to establish a tuberculosis sanatorium at Ninette. Incorporated under the Tuberculosis Control Act of 1929, it was renamed the Manitoba Lung Association in 1975.
