Job Opening: Museums Board Coordinator

The role of the City of Winnipeg Museums Board is to implement the City’s Heritage Preservation Policy to ensure the ongoing preservation of Winnipeg’s museums resources and assets, and to audit the ongoing operations of the museums that receive grant funds and in-kind services from the City.

To support its work, the Committee is seeking a strongly-motivated individual who will report to the Museums Board through its Chair and will:

You have extensive knowledge and/or previous experience with the City of Winnipeg and/or Manitoba museum community. You have strong communication, interpersonal and team skills, as well as strong organizational skills.  You have university graduation in the social sciences or an equivalent combination of training and experience, and demonstrated experience in the administration of grant programs and policy development. You are able to be flexible in your hours of availability.
