Long River School with teacher Ethel Oles
Thanks to Laurel Lahay for the above photo and
info....
"My grandmother, Ethel Oles who was born in 1899, taught at the Long
River School in Wakopa. I have some of the school records. She also
worked at the Wakopa store as well as babysitting the Morgan boys who
lived above the store."

This is a postcard from the Morgan Store for a
special order for a pair of pants. The belief is that the pants were
for Brian Arthur. Other speculation is that this is the individual that
was noted as the anchor for the local tug-of-war ream that participated
in an epic contest held at the opening ceremonies for the International
Peace Garden.
Thanks to Hollis Morgan
