This report was made possible with the finacial assistance of a heritage grant from the Manitoba Heritage Grantsd Advisory Council (HGAC) and funding from the Melita and District Economic Committee. Thanks to these sources, we have been able to identify and prepare a plan for the development of the rich archaeological heritage of southwestern Manitoba.

Kevin Brownlee, Curator opf Archaeology, The Manitoba Museum generously shared access to the archaeological images in his laboratory, many of which were sources used in this report. David McInnis, Museums Consultant with the Manitoba Historical Society, generously shared his wealth of knowledge, ideas and sources re funding, promotion, and planning implementation. Teija Dedi helped in accessing and recovering images from Archaeology Laboratory's collections. Shirley Sims typed the initial draft of this report.
