The extensive artifact collections include paintings from the eccentric Criddle-Vane family and memorabilia from famous former residents Tommy Douglas, Stanley Knowles and WW1 pilot Wop May. The museum also includes extensive sports memorabilia from all eras and many decade-specific collections. This museum in Carberry occupies a former sash and door factory owned and operated by James White. In 1939, White sold the building to J. H. Toby and W. B. McKay who operated a machine shop in it. Carberry Plains Archives Office:  Old Town Hall – 122 Main Street Seton Centre Ernest Thompson Seton was a world-renowned artist and naturalist who spent much of his time between 1882-1892 in the Carberry and North Cypress area. He often referred to his time here as the “Golden Years” of his life and it inspired many of his later works. Housed in one of Carberry’s many heritage buildings, the Seton Centre is a small museum, art gallery and gift shop dedicated to the life and works of Ernest Thompson Seton. We have recently finished building a new addition and are very excited about the new opportunities it represents. Camp Hughes Come and visit Manitoba’s only National Historic Site dedicated to the First World War. A municipally run park by the Town of Carberry and the Municipality  of North Cypress-Langford known as the“Friend of Camp Hughes”.
