Manitoba Photographers: Frank Whiteford Weekes (1886-1949)

Born at Exeter, Ontario on 5 September 1886, he came to Brandon around 1908 and worked as a photographer, operating the Weekes Studio, until 1928. He later moved to Vancouver, British Columbia before returning to Ontario, residing at Brantford, where he was Manager of the Connaught Studios. He died at Brantford, Ontario on 14 September 1949 and was buried in the Exeter Cemetery.
