Memorable Manitobans: Jonathan F. Wagner

Historian.

He holds a BA degree from Bowden College, Maine, an MA from the University of Pennsylvania, and a PhD from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He was a member of the history department at the University of Winnipeg in 1968. Specializing in modern European history, particularly German history, his research interests are focused on German migration to Canada. He taught history at Minot State University, in North Dakota, from 1984 to retirement in 2010.
