Barry Hyman

Archivist.

He worked for over 39 years at the Archives of Manitoba, retiring in January 2007 as Deputy Archivist. In the course of his career, he has been involved with most of the textual records acquired by Private Records, including the personal papers of Manitoba’s Premiers and Lieutenant Governors since 1967. Some of his best memories are meetings with those responsible for the records of organizations and associations, and the ongoing transfer of these records to the provincial archives.
