Derrek Eberts

University Professor.

Born and raised at Regina, Saskatchewan, he received BA (Honours) and MA degrees in Geography from the University of Saskatchewan, and a PhD in Geography at York University.

While an Associate Professor of Geography at Brandon University, his research interests included heritage, tourism, downtown revitalisation, and the Canadian brewing industry. The focus of the latter was on geography, branding, and marketing of beer. In 2024, he moved to Luther College at the University of Regina where he holds the position of Dean.
