Educator.
Born in England in 1945, he came to Canada, in 1973, and began a teaching career in the Fort Garry School Division, at Acadia School. He taught at Leaf Rapids (1976-1980) where, after the first year, he was a half-time Vice-Principal. He then joined the Lord Selkirk School Division as Principal of Walter Whyte School (1980-1982), Lockport Junior High School (1982-1990), St. Andrews School (1990-1999), and Happy Thought School (1999-2001). He retired in 2001 but then spent three years as a high school Principal at Dammam, Saudi Arabia before returning to Winnipeg. He wrote a book of historical fiction Land Title: A Novel of the Prairies (2021).
