Manitoba Organization: Manitoba Water Council

This group was established in February 2007 under the authority of The Water Protection Act as the senior advisory body to the Minister of Manitoba Conservation and Water Stewardship. It provided advice in matters relating to water management around the province. It was chaired by Jean Friesen (2007-2014) and Gordon Goldsborough (2014-2018). The Council was disbanded in 2018.
