MHS Centennial Business: Occidental Hotel

The Occidental Hotel at 631 Main Street was built by Alexander Logan in July 1886 and operated as the White Rose, being renamed as the Occidental in 1896 (the Oriental was across the street - curiously on the West side). Richard Walls, the owner, accepting the award.

An MHS Centennial Business Award was presented by Judith Hudson Beattie, Ken Zealand and David Deane in May 2004.
