Manitoba Business: Killbery Industries / MacDon Industries

This Winnipeg-based agricultural machinery business was founded in 1949 by brothers Thomas John “Tom” Killbery and William George “Bill” Killbery. In 1971, they sold it to Joseph Andrew “Joe” MacDonald and, a few years later, he renamed it MacDon Industries. In 2017, the company was acquired by a Guelph (Ontario)-based firm.
