Caleb Cantelon is a fifth-year honours student majoring in Anthropology at the University of Manitoba. After completing his undergrad, he hopes to stay in Manitoba and pursue a graduate degree an archaeology. Caleb is interested in precontact indigenous ceramics and has participated in several excavations with the MAS and Brandon University in Southwest Manitoba, digging at the Good site as well as the Olson site. Caleb also hopes to conduct Cultural Resource Management work, with the goal of becoming more familiarized with the state of provincial heritage preservation. He looks forward to his future in Manitoban archaeology, and well as becoming more involved in the provincial heritage sector.
Caleb will be discussing and critiquing the Manitoba Heritage Act.
