Gavin Wiens


Gavin Wiens is a PhD student in the Cultural Mediations program at Carleton University where he is researching the implications of translating handwritten medieval manuscripts into digital copies. He recently finished his MA at the University of Oxford, where his dissertation focused on 13th and 14th century optical theories and their applicability to the manuscript culture of the period.
