Historian.
She is a doctoral student at the University of Waterloo in Waterloo, Ontario. Her current SSHRC-funded dissertation project examines the translation of medical knowledge of childhood illnesses, in twentieth-century Canada, to parents through media. Her research focuses particularly on the role of place, gender, race, and language in the transmission of ideas of health.
