Municipal official.

He was the Progressive Conservative candidate for the Selkirk constituency in the 1969 provincial general election but was defeated by Howard Pawley. He was the Mayor of Selkirk (1984-2001) and President of the Manitoba Association of Urban Municipalities (1988-1989).
