Journalist, author.
He was a staff writer at the Brandon Sun (c1962) and wrote several books, including The Year of Jubilee: Mennonite Brethren Collegiate Institute 1945-1995 (1995) and The Papers of Howard W. Winkler (1999). He was Executive Director of the Manitoba Farm Vacation Association (1983-?). He met Diane Dowling while travelling in Spain and they married in 1966, having three children.
