Historian.
He received an MA in History from University of Winnipeg in 1990. His thesis dealt with imagery and public relations by the Hudson's Bay Company in the period from 1920 to 1945. He then completed a PhD in History from Carlton University before accepting a position with University College of the North, based in Thompson, Manitoba. His area of expertise is the visual representations of Western Canadian history. In 2008 he was hired as an administrative officer of Grant MacEwan College in Edmonton, Alberta.
