He is a writer, painter and researcher whose family came to settle on Treaty 6 territory at Mannville, Alberta, in 1905. He lives in Edmonton with his partner and two dogs. He is currently working on a historical fiction about his grandfather, one of twenty red coated Royal North West Mounted Police strikebreakers sent from Regina during the Winnipeg General Strike. https://kdbellblog.wordpress.com/
