The Civic and Caledonian clubs joined together to form the Civic Caledonian Curling Club for the 1938-1939 season. The new five sheet facility was located at 348 Sherbrook close to Portage Ave. Edward Hugh Martin Crawford served as president for the first two seasons of the amalgamated clubs. The club operated at that location until it disbanded after the 1991-1992 season.

Civic Cal, as it was normally referred, had a team skipped by Harold Tanasichuk who won the 1977 Canadian Mixed Championship.
